In addition to my research, I am an avid science communicator and feel compelled to bridge the gap between advancements in ecological research and public awareness of the issues facing global biodiversity. By harnessing my background in photojournalism and education, I try to create compelling science narratives that help change public perceptions of scientists and improve access to ecological knowledge.
